No, that does not happen. They cannot be retrofitted, it would be a major undertaking costing a lot of $$$$. Even so, you are only leasing the vehicle and you cannot make major modification to the vehicle.I thought that a lot of them actually came to dealerships without sunroofs and then they got put in. I know they told me they could do it but i have just never had anything that large done after the fact to a car and am a little bit nervous.
I made a similar mistake with a 2004 Tahoe - can't recommend strongly enough against it - similar results. The dealership used their vendor but not long after warranty was up bad things happenedI had it done many years ago with one of my Cadillac's and was a HUGE mistake! (87 Deville Toruing, sunroof leaked like crazy and was constantly going off track...was a total waste of money) Things may have changed since I had it done but I will never do it again nor recommend it to anyone! (not even my worst enemy) Also, as others have stated, DO NOT do any major modifications to your car if it is a lease...trust me.
Just so I/we all understand - the authorized Cadillac dealer where you leased your car told you they would install a factory Ultra View moonroof?I thought that a lot of them actually came to dealerships without sunroofs and then they got put in. I know they told me they could do it but i have just never had anything that large done after the fact to a car and am a little bit nervous.
