Installed the Volant Intake

Well... after a short cursing and a cut finger I have my Volant installed!! My only complaint is that I do not like how the rebreather is connected, I'm going to have to find a better way to connect it. Other then that I had it installed in less then 45 mins.
This thing sings like my buddies BMW M3 but only better!!

I am also VERY p leased with the Volant. Make sure you cut the thick shiled in front of the bumper so you can get better airflow it makes a big difference

Rob,

Yeah..you will have a problem if you do not take off the old gasket for the MAF. Don't try to use both, its too thick and will not bolt up. Use the new one provided. I was also missing a nut to hook up the mounting hardware. But I have a few loose nuts and bots handy so that was not an issue.

Thanks PAW(Sounds like I'm taking to my Dad "Paw"). Yeah, part shortages and incorrect screws plus no instructions. They TonyA was a good prep course for me.
i had a problem with the bolt length also...another small roadblock i had was the alignment of the MAF to the volant box...nothing a little reaming didn't take care of. a small, but frustrating problem.

At first I left the gasket and just removed the washer which gave enough room for the screw to catch. Funny that for a few pennies they could have just gave us longer screws. Why they still have not changed this is beyond me.
