Problem I had was how to fit my K&N tube with the radiator installed.

I ended up removing the condenser and placing it below the front brace.

Then cut and shortened the upper mounts and fabbed a lower bar to support the condenser so it's nice and solid.

Looks factory now and I gained 2" of room.

For guys needing more you can wack the rear upper mounts and cut the lip of the bar off and install it. Should net 4" of additional space, which is what I will do later on when I add turbos.

I've got a word file with lots of pics for a tutorial, I just can't figure out how to get it on here if anyone is interested in it, shoot me a PM and I'll email it to you.

I'd also like to add that using dexcool sucks in comparison to using G13+.

I've got 90-100c temps under the same operating conditions vs 85-95 with the VAG group coolant.

Just food for thought. That's with the ignorant summer temps here in the middle east.

I have this same radiator it’s great, filling after install was a little odd because I’m used to having a radiator cap and getting air out that way was a little more promising than relying on the overflow.
It seems you got it to work with the k&n using a little more technical way, With my k&n intake I hit it with a heat gun and hammer to mold the intake around the radiator in 3 different spots, now you would never know it’s not supposed to be there!
