Heres another interesting question, my main purpose for installing a head unit would be for a line input so I could attach an Mp3 player. I stumbled accross this interesting item that is suposed to go between the factory head unit and the factory speakers, clearify the sound, and add Aux inputs. My question is, will it work with a 1992 DeVille Delco Cassett Tape Head Unit? This Item is called CleanSweep, and its manufactured by JL. http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_cleansweep_pages.php?page_id=79

thats the site for more information. Any feedback is much appreciated.

Neat product, haven't seen that before. You should be fine, IF the word "Bose" is nowhere on your factory headunit. That's kinda cool though how you can retain factory appearance.

It doesn't have speaker wire outputs so you would have to add an amplifier. But from what I've read it's an awesome unit.
