Bob, calm down my man, this is a CAR forum not a computer class......give the guy a break for cryan' out loud........new threads are MORE important than old ones IMO anyway. BTW, just got off the phone with the Lemon Law attorney, there are TONS of actions pending against the CTS.........thought you might be interested in that NEW fact.

I just wanted the new guys to know that most off us have been there many many times. If it's new and informative, sure I wanna hear it . Strindl was rubbing my fur the wrong way too.:annoyed:

So JET, did you read an article about all of this pending ledigation against the CTS? I Sure would enjoy the read. Can you paste the article or a link?

Get used to it robert...your telling people not to post complaints about their cars is counter productive to any car forum, and "rubs my fur" the wrong way.

If there are that many threads on that rear end cadillac problem, stretching over 4 model years...there may just be a problem with the design or manufacture.

Also, you will note that I did not start any of those rear end problem threads, but I do follow them..hoping that at some point Cadillac will wake up and fix the problem.

And btw..I was not the one you complained about having the quoting problem, you'll have to whine to someone else about that. I joined here just about the time I took delivery of my brand new CTS in march of 2004. A month before you in fact.

Rear end problem threads are related to owners experiencing this problem and seeking help. The people who have been down this path respond with advice.

The proper way for a forum to prevent repetitive threads is for a "Forum Moderator" to post a sticky. Also forum etiquette suggests that only "Forum Moderators" control conversation threads and who should be asked to leave.

Any "Forum Moderators" care to add...

The Forum Mods have a lot to police. Stickys can get out of hand. You could have the whole first page full of stickys. We have a real nice FAQ section filled with that info but they don't seem to use it.

The whole point of this thread was to point out how often it happens. When I did my search I only used three pages. I left dozens of pages unchecked. You can imagine how many I missed.

I realize I've been carried away to make a point. I spend a lot of time at the Forum and I was hoping for some fresh material. I'm movin' on.:getaway:

There is a lot to police but as you have noted this problems occurs over and over and I would think certainly rates a sticky. They could also do as this forum has done and create a specific sub forum dealing with problems and fixes. http://tl.acurazine.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=1

The faq is hard to find if you are unfamiliar.

Sorry Robert, info came direct from a firm that specializes in Lemon Law actions across the country. My point was that this car has problems, big problems, and that I'm not the only one experiencing them. I see a recall coming down the pike real soon.
