kipkay from make magazine is awesome. I like watching his videos. But there is a easier way to increase the range from your keyless remote. Simply place/pointing the keyless remote on your head (like placing/pointing a gun to your head) and that should give you about 50 more feet or so, accroding to Top Gear from the BBC network.
Edit: here is a video. The embedded video doesn't work. just click the link to watch the video. I thought the idea is funny.
No kidding on the key to the ear - add in keep you mouth open in the direction of the car and its a winner. Works for my CTS, H3 and previously with a Volvo, a Mazda and a Jeep. Strange, and makes you wonder about EM on the brain
What was that movie a few years ago, where the burglar in the house got his inhaler and his gun mixed up? He sprayed the homeowner with his inhaler, and shot himself in the mouth. One of the funniest scenes ever.
Any good service documentation for timing chain replacement. Detailed instructions and procedures would be nice. I've done one on a 3.6 LY7 for an 08 SRX. Wondering if its similar.
My 2012 CTS has 93,000 miles on it and its about time for a new chain to keep this bad boy running for a long time.
For some reason YouTube is recommending videos that y’all about the PCV valve in our V6 engines. They say the clogging and small opening is part of the reason for timing chain issues and oil consumption.
Is this true? If so, do I need to modify the valve? Did GM make a bigger one for the 2014...

I’ve been following these forums for some time, and I have to say, you all have saved me thousands of dollars in repairs/diagnostics. It’s awesome that there are people out there willing to help others without asking for something in return. Thanks.... now to my issue:
