So I dont know where I left off... I was waiting on the shipping on the viper diff, and my getrag snapped to pieces. pretty sure its the halfshaft bc Im only halfshafted!!! The car moves when releasing the clutch but makes a loud popping, clanking noise from the diff. I actually slowly drove the vehicle onto the tow truck believe it or not. The guy was laughing so hard. Anyways, the shop made room for the V today. It was the only car in there(Offroad truck shop). I am checking up on it Friday to see the progress. I hope all goes well. this install is expected to be 2500-3000k btw. modifying the cradle to accept the viper diff. This does not include my diff. Should go well. keep fingers crossed and I will deliver pics once I get them.
Thanks,
Chris
BTW I FRIGGIN MISS MY CADDY V

I have seen a bunch of different variants of the viper diff... just to verify.. you have the Dana 44 viper diff w/ the batwing... aka 4 mounting points. right?

I'm assuming you are running 3.75:1 right? Or did you the diff you buy have a different gearing?

I bought a stock viper diff with the batwing... yes the dana 44 with 4 mounting points. I got a steal of a deal. I found a diff on ebay with 400 miles for a buy it now price of 400. You best believe I jumped on it, before the shop said they could do it... worst comes up and I can sell it for 1400. but I lucked out and the shop said they could do it!!!

LOL Lolly..... NOT worthless w/o PICS. I'm with TKSFAB. Let us know on CV joints... I'm not worried about mounting it (although pics will be nice in that regard) I'm worried about interfacing that viper diff w/ our existing driveshaft and halfshafts... that's the ? mark in my head... if I can figure that out... I'm in BABY
