My father passed away from lung cancer in March of 2018, he left me Ol' Blue and I am wanting to bring her back to where he once had her. I have never been a Cadillac person so I am extremely new at this. Besides local junkyards and eBay are there other sources for parts? She runs but she is rough right now and I want to restore her and make him proud, any help is appreciated. I feel like it would be easier to buy a roller with a bad engine and take parts from that.

Nice looking car. My Dad died in March 2018 too. Is that a scuff on the door or a reflection?

That was a reflection, my Daddy was an automotive detailer and he kept her looking wet.

Hard to tell what parts you need.
Depending on the area you're located it may be difficult to find in a junkyard.
Remember when salvage yards were full of those cars.

Around here even mid 90's of most any cars are a limited selection.
More often it's year 2000 & up.
Cars turn over every few months.
Once in a blue moon there may be 1 Cad from late 70's or early 80's.
They get picked clean to the bone.

Most maintence parts should be available online or ordering from a parts store.

Ebay is good for finding parts.
It's just too bad it's turned into a JC Whitney of universal parts.
Providing a so many worthless results.
The best feature is to search for used parts only.

"Saving2ndBass" I would suggest putting your location in your signature, especially seeing you're looking for parts.

I highly recommend getting a Cadillac shop manual off of ebay as well. Mine has already saved me a few hundred bucks, and countless hours since i'm barely even a novice at auto repair.

After poking around, I realize that you have to hover over your screen name to get your location to pop up. If you had it there previously, I was mistaken. The reason why it is important someone may be aware of parts you are looking for in your area. I know where there are 4 boxy Caddy's like yours in FL JY's.

Thanks, I honestly did not know how to display my location. I changed the settings but since I didn’t see it I figured maybe I was doing something wrong
