[Loud 93 STS]

I just wanted to let everyone know who I am and why I joined. I am 19 and have a 93 STS (first year of the Northstar). I joined to read and learn about what others are doing to their Cadillacs either cosmetically or performance wise. Also I have questions every once and a while that I just can't seem to answer myself. Well so far I think this is an awesome forum and think i will enjoy being a member.

Loudness

My STS is pretty loud. I have no cat, don't tell the law. In it's place I have a 2.5 in glasspack and finally back to two 40 series Delta Flow Flowmasters. I attract attention when I start it in parking lots to say the least.

Ive been thinking about taking my cat off my exhaust system too, it would probably make a difference and help the engine run cooler. My Caddy is Only loud when i flip a few rocker toggles and the amps come on. :spin:

I'm working on that loudness. I just installed a new stereo and speakers to replace the failing Bose system. I had to completely rewire but it will pay off in the end. Right now I have a Pioneer DEH-P6400 head unit, wired to two-way Pioneer 4 in up front and Pioneer four-way 6x9's in back. Im planning on adding two 10 in subs in the trunk sooner or later. Maybe a 12 disc changer too.
