Selling a good old car is like dumping a crazy girl (who's great in the sack). You know you'll miss certain things, but you're still happy to see the next guy leave with her!

I sold my 1990 Brougham last night. I bought it last May with lots of help & information from this forum.. Not as much as I did in my search for a CDV, but that's another thread. It had 69k on it when I brought it home & left with just under 92k. I gave $3900 & sold it for $3500.. Nothing but maintenance for close to 23k miles in less than a year.. One of the best cars I've owned. Time for something else. I hope I don't miss it much. SL

I wouldn't say happy, more like apprehensive about what might be coming in the future. I'm thinking on the lines of a DTS.... Or a 2008 or later Grand Marquis. I've had a couple of them(GM) and they're great cars. I will just drive my 05 diesel Chevy truck for a few months until something comes this way. I need to get the CDV ready for spring time anyway & this frees up a little bit of room.
