Not that I'm selling my V; but when I was V shopping, the only other car I considered was the Audi S8. I just couldn't justify the difference in price, and not having the manual transmission.

What else floats your boat ?

VIPER GTS........I sold my 430 Scuderia and found a smoking deal on a NEW LOADED 2014 and of course bought my 2015 CTS-V MT6.

Dont have many miles on either but it feels right to be back to American iron/steel/stainless/plastic,lol and especially the Manual Trans.

You really have to set a price range to answer your question in all honesty. There are so many choices in the 70-150K range but if you dont mind switching to the floppy paddles those choices expand.

If my Vagon were totaled I really don't know what I would buy. I love the body style of my wagon, the power and manual. I just don't know. I might buy a Cayman GTS, that is all I can think of right now. Too stressful to contemplate!

Replacing the V wagon is a tough one. The closest thing to the performance, body style/size and having a manual transmission is probably the upcoming Focus RS. The E63 S is still available but only for $120k and with no option for a manual. For sedans there are more choices at least, but still not very many that offer a manual. There's the ATS-V and the Chevy SS, or the BMW M3/M4 or M5. For whatever reason the Challenger hellcat offers a manual but the Charger hellcat doesn't. I still think they probably need to make a Magnum hellcat, and make it handle well. And give it a manual.

No replacement for a stick wagon. :(

Were I to get rid of my V wagon, I'd be looking at a SRT Grand Cherokee....and a huge hole in my motoring heart.

Grand Cherokee TrackHawk Hellcat - it's real an it's coming.......the 300 can't be far behind
ZL1 - I had a convertible and loved it, only problem was no cage = no race. Buy the coupe, problem solved
Z06 - Quit F-ing around and finally buy the race I really want while I still have the reflexes to enjoy it properly

Totally agree. But my question to you is what if someone stole your car or it was totaled out by a soon-to-be dead-wanker?

I was just yankin' your chain. I'm a MOPAR guy too. I've owned a 2006 Charger R/T, and 2010 Challenger SRT8. Just wish they would have finished the job with the Hellcat better. Reduce the weight, improve the suspension, and make room in the wheel well for bigger tires (at least on the rear). Still, the Hellcat is an awesome muscle car! Just wouldn't replace my V with one.

Couldn't agree with you more with respect to your critique of the Hellcat. Like you, wouldn't replace my V with one, but wouldn't mind having both in the garage.
