Man I'm fighting the urge. Even if the dealership will only give me $36K for my current V, I'd still do it. GMS is around $47K but I've seen new ones with zero miles for $43,000. Take that minus GM Card $1,000, minus rebate $1,500 and I'm looking at $40,500. 3 V's in 3 years. Yes the wife would kill me, but damnit it's worth it.

I'd transfer every mod' from my current V to the new one. Now why would anyone trade a 2005 V for another 2005 V. I want to try a red one. Man I go it bad. Real bad. :cookoo:

Chris,
Why don't you just get your current V painted? That would be nice...can we all say "no orange-peel"?
I've caught myself dreaming about a Graphite V, you know the grey that NEVER looks dirty.
Really, if you want another color get it painted...as is you've had enough replaced on your car to almost make it"new".

I would have bought this color in an instant had it been available in the V. :bulging:

Man, you need a vacation. I'm sure your current V is perfectly good. Take a few breaths and stay away from that damn dealer. Just keep thinking LS6, LS6, LS6......

Norm, isn't it about time for you to change cars again? It's been what 8 months in that GTO now?

I love red, the V is my first non red car. But V's don't come in real red.
Buy some bright red contacts. The V will look red, and everyone will leave you alone, in fact, many will probably run away faster than a Frenchman in front of the German army.

Painting cars is beat..........even if it's done "right". You can always tell a car that has been painted.......always, I don't care how good the shop is.

(Chris, I know you're not going to paint your V, I just had to jump in on this.)

One of my biggest pet peeves has to be when one of my cars needs paint work. If a spray gun ever touches my V, I don't care how small the area is, she will be for sale the following day.............and replaced by another V of course!

I already had the front and rear facias repainted. Both were removed entirely from the car. I defy anyone to tell they've been redone. I had a pretty good chunk of paint missing from the front and a nasty spot on the rear bumper where Mr. V met Mr. Curb. Now it's all good.

As for a new V. I could be tempted at any time. The second one was a fluke really. Ain't it funny that once you get a V you just want another? :lildevil:
