Have you seen it? The pictures aren't that great. Hard to tell what condition it's in.
The price is priced at high Bluebook for a car in 'good' condition.
Fleet in this case might just mean it was a lease company that owned it and leased it someone. It does have 'low' mileage for a fleet car. It is spot on for a 12000 per year lease contract.
Plus it's the wrong color and trim package for a fleet car. If it was a livery vehicle, then don't you have to place a sticker or plate somewhere to drive in NYC? There should be evidence of that. Also the rear seat would have just as much wear as the driver.
Take a look, if it's in decent condition, offer him six grand and play hard ball. Thats probably 750 more than he paid for it.
Look underneath the car at the frame! If there is any rust, run don't walk to the nearest exit.
My personal opinion is that black interiors seem to maintain a quality look to them while the other colors seem to look worn with age. It might be just that the other colors vary in color to much from the carpet to the seats to the dash to the headliner.
