Well. I was sad to see it go - but my Vette is gone.. Just sold for $7800.00.. I put a ton of money into getting that car to run like new - and it does. The new owner will be very happy... But, I'm on to bigger and (I'd like to think) better things... I'll be looking for a 1995 Fleetwood Brougham.. I had to pay off the remainder of the loan ($3300.00) and I've got a tiny bit in savings - so I have about $5500.00 to work with. Maybe $6500.00 next week if I don't eat or drink... So what are my chances of finding a decent Fleetwood Brougham without getting a loan? I REALLY don't want a car payment. Loans and credit cards have practically destroyed me...

It depends on what you are looking for..... If you are looking for an immaculate, flawless, sub 50k 95 fully loaded, forget it!!!

But.... I think you could find a good one (maybe with some cosmetic/mechanical flaws) for about 6500....... ALWAYS factor into that price an extended warranty..... It may be painful up front, but its much less painful than a 3000 tranny replacement!!!

For 5500, you will have to expect some things not to be perfect...... I would say get it inspected first..... If they can find enough things wrong with it, maybe you could use that to your advantage.......

Thanks Wes.. Well, I'm not looking for low mileage. I wouldn't even mind 100,000 miles. So hopefully that'll help. Cosmetically, I'd like it to be close to perfect. Same goes for the interior - but average wear and some minor dings and scratches wont bother me.

Personally, you might be better off getting one is a little rough condition and fixing it up..... Like cosmetic things......

And its about time for Gods sake, Sal!!!! :D

You know that www.liautofind.com is like the best place on the planet to find cars. :p Yeah.. :D

Otherwise. Yes, I've tried AutoTrader.com.. I think I'm JUST out of range right now.. I'll probably need to save a little bit more.. I'm patient, though..

I hear ya on the loan/credit cards thing Sal! That truck I just bought I paid CASH for(great feeling BTW) and it tapped me out! Untilnext month that is. But I think you can find anice Fleetwood for about $5500. Are you just looking locally? Can you travel?

I might be getting a Fleetwood Brougham myself. I guess a 19'4" DeVille isn't quite big enough for me :bouncy: . It's a 75 'wood, though, and it's sold as an "extended chassis" model, as if a 19.5' long car needs an extention. I'll be getting a pretty good deal on it, because I'll have to do some work on it, first will be a new front bumper. It's 2100 miles away :annoyed: but that's only $3-400 in gas to drive it back . But then I'll have a Fleetwood :D .
