the most beautiful automobile I have ever seen. I will buy $10. worth of lottery tickets 2-nite. NO WORDS and I mean NO WORDS could describe this car, short of "sculpture on wheels" & I want one so bad, but they are so so so expensive. It was brandy new. The man was driving it home for the first time from the dealership, I am sure of it. It had a dealer advertising plate where the license plate will go, and the window sticker was on the passenger's window. He drove slowly & very carefully. At every cross street, his brake lites lit up. A steady 25 MPH all the way. I was in back of him for 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile. It was a 2005 Jaguar XJ-R Coupe. It was totally black, paint & leather interior, with chromed Jaguar wheels. The taillamps are outlined in delicate thin chrome perimeter strips, that got me. It hink it had a moonroof, pretty sure of it. The paint finish was like looking into a swimming pool filled with glossy black paint. Compared to, say Mercedes S430 or a BMW 5 Series or 7-Series, this Jag screamed wealth AND class. I was totally mesmerized. I covet to own this car.

Would that be the XK-R? (supercharged coupe?)

Those things, especially in convertible form,.........mmmmmmm
Yeah i had the XK8 in 1998 and that was a great car, if dated slightly, but the R is supposed to be something out of this world.
Like a cheaper Aston Martin DB7
You mean this thing:

It's okay. But I was going to get a non-AMERICAN car, from the U.K., I'd get one of these:

See less See more

My dads pal has one of those Astons in his workshop, its horrid, it uses two gallons of petorl to start the engine, its fast, but the suspension came off of a horse and cart.....

Id take a Bentley, but i love my jaguars, and i would one day liek a DB9 Volante
Yes, XK-R. The XJ is the sedan which I also love in Vanden Plas or Super-8 forms. Yes, it was just like that picture, same wheels & model & paint.
It's the sexiest woman I've ever seen. We may need to start Sandy's Jag fund.

Everyone is allowed some exceptions, and where he only buys American, he can dream british :p

I mean, its a good thing to dream about, infact, all the british manufacturers are arent they :p

Land Rover (especially Range Rover)
Jaguar
Bentley
Aston Martin
Rolls Royce
Bristol
It **IS** AMERICAN !! Jaguar is owned by Ford, along with Aston Martin, Volvo & Mazda.

Saab is okay too. Owned by G.M.

We got a saloon in the center of Bloomfield (our town) ~ It has a very low roof & is 1 story. I think your wife would like it ! Icy Cold beer on tap every night and a free rose for the ladies. Does she drive her coupe TO the saloon??

I hate Ford :brutal:
I have looked into to it, and my Mazda has no Ford parts, thank GOD.
I do like the Lin. LS, but it's designed by Jag and basically is a Jag.
I love Ford, and G.M. and Saab & Volvo and Jaguar and Aston Martin and Mazda ~ because they are AMERICAN brands and the profits they generate go back into America and keep an American Corporation healthy and keep the money here, in America.
All the rest of them can go rot in heII :vomit::farting:
Sure...

Anyway, that is an amazing car Sandy.

LOL sorry, i forgot that they are sedans in America. We call them saloon cars in the UK......

And yes, she would probably like the bar

She was the first girlfriend i had that could drink me under the table......
Announcing the All New 2006 Cadillac CTS Tavern, made in the European Tradition. See the new CTS Tavern-car now ! Duh.... The UPline model is the Saloon-Car.

I don't want such a big car, I'd like the smaller Pontiac Deli-Car :(
