Did you check ebay?

They always have the smoking deals on wheels especially in that price range.

You ain't gonna get a set of HREs for anywhere near that price for that size.

the rims I want are Limited 900 chrome. nice full face. or something similar.
a shop on ebay has them for $1895 for rims alone. this is a good price. Its only like $100 over his cost. Then I need to find a set of used 26" tires for around $1000-$1200.

That seems pretty cheap for a set of quality rims/tires. Ebay or another user with a clean set of take-offs are your only chance. If you are looking to buy new, the only place you might find a deal like that is at pep boys

Call Eddie at discount wheel warehouse. I got a brand new set of 24" Pirelli Scorpions for a little more than $1250 shipped to my door. It couldnt hurt to try. Good luck.
