I'm in Seattle, WA and I'm trying to find somewhere to get parts for my 1990 cadillac ETC. I'm also wondering if anyone knows of a cadillac specialist in my town?

What kind of parts do you need? The ETC specific stuff? GM still has a lot of stuff and they are starting to discontinue parts for the early 90s cads. I would go there for trim parts and emblems, but it depends what you are looking for.

Door switches, d&p inside door handle shroud, d&p seat switches, d&p door seat switches, front grill & hood. The closest place I've found is cadillac king in southern California. I was told I needed specifically ETC parts...but I'm not sure if thats true.

Structurally their fine. They used to be leather & now their torn and the sun has cracked what parts aren't torn.

The switches on the doors should all be the same. I think the ones on the seats are the same as standard, with only lumbar and recliner switches. The shrouds are the same as any ETC or eldorado with medium beechwood interior. The front grille is the same as Eldorado Biarritz and possibly other models. The hood will be a little tough to find. Since only ETC's had the crest and wreath on the grille, the hood was smooth. Your best bet is to get a standard eldorado/seville hood and fill the hole in.

That was really helpful...thanks. In the past all I heard was an ETC can only use ETC parts. Didn't sound right to me...which is why I posted the question...thanks again.

No problem. I have a 90 STS and it is basically the ETC in a 4 door body, Med. Beechwood interior, and the same wheels, ground effects and exhaust. Good luck finding everything you need, and if you need me to check the eldo at our local yard for anything electrical, just let me know.

I have a '91 STS and the door panels are different than the regualr Seville. Mine are burl wood. Also has the wood trim around the window switches and seat controls. Is the ETC not the same? Did you buy the '90 ETC that was for sale in Ballard on craigslist? I was thinking about checking that car out.

Now I seem to be having trouble. My ride acts like the battery is dead (brand new battery) then when I hook the cables up...I barely have to touch it and my car revs like a champ. Without that lil spark though...it's quiet like an angel @ confession...any idead guys?
