Tomorrow, I am going to finally decide if I should go and buy a 2004 CTS. The miles are concerning me (111,000) but the test drive went great. With that said, I have a few questions. Keep in mind that I could not hear or feel any problems with the engine or car at all. The carfax was very, very clean and the dealer has a GREAT reputation. I have never owned or even driven a Cadillac, so I am weary. There were also no leaks that I could tell. I simply need advice and some pointers.

A) Is this car worth it?
B) If I purchase the car, are there any problems that frequently comes up with 2004 CTS after reaching 100,000 miles.

My 03 6 speed standard 3.2 L has 100,000 miles and performs as good as new. A dealer can do a computer read out for you. I would suggest a Dealer Inspection b4 purchase however my Mechanic says 300K Miles given my maintenance isnt an issue . Motor is a real performer!

Matt, 3.2l or 3.6l? If it's a stick, it's a 3.2l. I have an '04 3.2l with 111k--lots of experience with many head-scratching, wallet-emptying issues... But my car is uniquely problematic.

Just the past years experience with my '03....133,000 miles......ya really NEED to develop some rudimentary mecanical knowledge.....cleaning the throttle body, for instance. $55 job at my stealership.....$7 can of cleaner and half-hour in the driveway. The $48 bucks I save.....pays for dinner at the local steakhouse. Learn to read / reset the codes in the self-diagnostic system....As far as driveability, we took ours thru a blizzard from Nashville, TN to Canton, OH over Christmas week......best car I've ever had in the snow, and that includes FWD, full size sedans. Bottom line....how bad do you want the car?
