I graduated from College in May and I am still mowing lawns.

I have a BS in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Marketing from a AACSB Accredited College.

I prefer to work in the Northeast (CT or NY), Forida, or Texas in an entry level possition.

If anyone works aywhere or could pass my resume on, please contact me, or post here and I will send a PM with my resume.

thank for any help.

Hey man, I graduated in 2002 from with the same degree and have managed to get two jobs in sales since then. The job market is real tough, especially in August when everyone's on vacation but make your philosophy to "make getting a job a full time job." Work six hours a day trying to get a job, looking for openings or writing cover letters to go along with your resume. If you're only working 2 hours a day or less, than you aren't trying hard enough.

Also, 80% of new jobs aren't even advertised. They are gone before you know it. A lot of it is who you know and networking yourself with the right people.

You're right.

We just hired a salesperson who just left a similar company. The right person was available at the right time.

We also hired a great customer service person, who under better times, we might not have been able to hire. That was an ad.

Keep looking and follow-up the interview with a phone call the next morning.

Hey, Im in the same boat as you! I just graduated CCSU with a BS in COmputer Networking and i cannot find a job. My co-op position at Pratt and Whitney supposedly hires you after you get a degree, not in my case, the market is so bad right now, i may have to find a temp job in retail! Im trying to get into verizon, its supposed to be "the Hottest place for IT jobs" right now. If that falls thru, it may be off again to circuit city/best buy until i find a real job.
Stupid BS degree is not worth squat :banghead: :banghead2

What a waste of 5 years!
