I might buy a 1990 Deville

It has 150k and garage kept. I think the front rotors are warped but other than that is in good shape. Is $1,000 a good price? I think it should be. I would be using it more for long trips on the highway. I have an Audi A4 for ziping around town but it is a 2001 with 52k miles on it. So I think the caddy will be a great second car.

What should I look for on this car. It is a friend who's grandparents bought it new.

1K for a Caddy that is in good shape, you can't go wrong!
150,000 miles isn't bad on that car! I was servicing one for a woman that had 220,000 on it a few years ago. She still has the car and drives it regularly. I see it around here all the time! By now it's got to have 300,000 on it...

What is the symptom that makes you think the rotors are warped? That's kind of an odd thing to have go wrong I.M.O.
Before you buy a Cadillac, make sure you find out good caring repair shop for it. That is what I did, before I bought mine. I asked around some folks that drove really cared-for cars.
That's a great price for a good running driving DeVille! I could eailty resell it here for $2500 ATLEAST! If you need parts, lemme know, I am swamped with SDV parts! :)
