I'm mostly a lurker however I will introduce myself. I picked up an 07 CTS about a month ago and I have put about 1k on it. It is a sunset blue 3.6, so it does use oil. I have changed it once and have had to add a quart. I replaced the brake pads and turned the rotors, changed diff. juice and both air filters. I have replaced all the external light bulb(pm) ,and mounted a trailer hitch(for bike rack). Today I changed the spark plugs and drilled out the crankcase vent.
I have noticed lots of complaints on this forum, well I'm not I love my car. I have owned a lot of cars over the years but this is my first higher end car. I figured for the cost of a low end new car I could get a nice sporty sedan. My ride had 39k on it when I purchased it and am looking forward to many happy miles. I love my CTS even with its perceived faults. Clearboy out

To add to my street cred, I used to work for Cadillac. 1979 I worked at the Clark St. assembly plant, fun times.
