performs best? I have several waxes/polishes in the garage that are old and I have been looking at newer waxes as I imagine they are improved. I waxed with Liquid Glass right after purchasing the car and water stopped beading after two weeks. An ideal wax would be easy to apply/remove and long-lasting.

I've googled this and some people love waxes while others claim carnauba waxes suck. Some love wax "systems" that require all-day applications, which, quite frankly, life's too short for. Any opinions/experiences here?

I use turtlewax ice after every 2nd wash or so. Its a spray on, wipe off. I can't do the polishing I useto because my back is messed up. This is just a easy and deacent wax. Looks really good but I don't think it stays on long.

I use the NXT 2.0 from Meguies, works very well. But like most things it matters more on the user than anything else. You just gotta make sure to follow the directions cause each wax is different.

But pretty much any wax will get the job done just stay away from those real cheap ones.

i do some detailing on the side and i personally love ultima's paint prep and sealant. i do it every 6 months and lasts forever... if you really want to get picky you can put karnaba (sp) on top of it and make it shine more. The ultima expensive for the bottle but a bottle will do about 60-70 cars cause a couple spirts will do the whole thing. You just rub it on the clean car and you are done. Very simple, just my personally preference though. good luck!
