Hey guys, so I have a 2005 CTS - No Navi - No XM - CD - USA (Canada) Spec -

Now I've been wanting to integrate XM into my stereo for some time now, and have spent countless hours researching as to how to do it. This link http://cadillacfaq.com/faq/answers/xminstall/index.html pretty much explains how to do this but that XM Direct receiver can not be found ANYWHERE. Trust me I've looked everywhere.

Seems to me that every post/thread I've seen on this is from back in 2009 or 2010. Probably when that receiver was available to purchase.

I'm just hoping that someone sees this that can point me in the right direction.

I know this is one of the typical "use the search button" posts, but you've got to believe me, I have!

Thanks.

You can use a factory XM radio. Just install the XM radio, wires should be there on the rear deck. Then have a dealer hook up a Tech II to enable the XM radio on the head unit.

Then call XM radio to activate the radio.
