WHERE R THE RELAYS 4 IT? 1996 DEVILLE TEMP R FINE TILL I SIT A LONG,LONG TIME ...IT GOT UP TO 222 THE OTHER NIGHT AND I JUST CUT IT OFF IT I WAS READY TO LEAVE....WHAT'S WRONG:crying2:

You'll never hear the fans running in slow. They don't even start in slow until 224, then to fast IF the temp gets to 236. Fans always run in slow when some A/C or defrost mode is called for. Perfectly normal to go to 224 in traffic or sitting still.

thanks ,sorry about that...i'll check to see if temps get higher...

Those are normal temps. My '95 DeVille used to regularly hit 230 in traffic. No need to worry unless it goes above 250. The car is very smart and will tell you to shut the engine off if it gets to hot.
