Hello guys
My car is Cadillac cts 3.0 2010
I bought from Amazon Bosch brake pad for front and rear
For the front the part number is : bc1332
And the rear :bc 1337
The rear fitted well but the front was bigger than the original and didn't fit .
It says in amazon.com and carid.com
That it fits with my car

Does anyone know why the front didn't fit
The picture of the front brake pad is in the attachment

Ahh, Now I understand better. It should fit as you were told, but since you actually tried to put in on and it did not fit, there should be your proof that something is wrong. Good luck. I hope someone else will help you out here.

I don't know about international sales, but if the item was the fault of Amazon then return shipping is free

Return Shipping Costs

If you return an item using the return label provided in the Online Returns Center, and the reason for return is not a result of an Amazon.com error, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund

Check to see what size brakes you have. Amazon possibly sent the wrong set. I believe the numbers are JE5 and J55 Looks like there are 1331 and 1332 pads, depending on the size brakes you have on the car.

As others have pointed out, there are 2 different brake setups - the JE5 (base/standard) and J55 (performance/sport). There's info in this thread. The J55 brakes have larger rotors front and rear, and use a different pad shape up front; as you've discovered, the rear pad shape is the same for either setup.

Since the Bosch 1332 pads did not work, that means you have the J55 performance/sport brakes. (Remember that when it comes time to order rotors at some point in the future - you want the 345mm front and 339mm rear rotors, instead of the 315mm front and rear.) As Joe said, you want the 1331 pads. The 1331, 1332, and 1337 are based on the FMSI numbers for each specific pad shape (D1331, D1332, D1337). Most of the pad manufacturers will work the FMSI number into their part number, so even if you don't go with Bosch, if you search for brake pads with "1331" in the part you'll be on the right track.

Hmm, after reading this, I guess I ordered the wrong pads. I have the FE2 suspension (all weather performance package). When selecting my pad, it asked if I had the performance or standard suspension, I picked performance, but I have the FE5 brakes. I guess I just wasted shipping on parts to the UK.

How can I tell whether I have the JE5 or J55 setup? Thanks!

Look at the Service Parts Identification tag in the trunk on the inside of the spare tire cover. It will have your VIN number and a long list of 3 character codes identifying all the standard and option equipment in your car. Somewhere about the third line you will see either JE5 or J55 indicating the brake option in your vehicle.
