Just bought my 2015i platinum last 02/02/15 and loving everything about it. Shopped for several luxury ute and came to the conclusion that it's the best one to replace my 2009 escalade hybrid with 195k miles. LX570-nope old design and a gas hog. Drove it and liked the features and all but totally platinum wins. Range RoverFFRR/Range Rover Sport-I needed excellent towing to tow my 2013 Range Rover Sport. Besides I cannot have two FFRR or RRS as what if both were to break at the same time and get a VW Jetta loaner? The features are almost similar but head unit, nav, onstar, reliability and gas mileage, platinum wins. Price point wise, the GL550 was considered but not impressed with the multimedia package which my 2014 GLK350 4 matic has. Towing is also minimal vs the escalade platinum. Anything else?
