hvac controller - is it repairable?
in my car climate goes week ago crazy - its blow hot air between 16 - 22°C;
then between 24 - 28°C its allmost normal, and then between 28-32°C again blows hot as hell.
Does enybody knows about this failure?
And computer does´nt tell any error code...

Oh, yes - car is 1990 Eldorado

And summer is coming - i really need cold air into my car :mad:

So, may be then some vacuum actuators are out of order?
Or blend air door link?

Yes, but in-car sensor must set trouble code B113?
some months ago computer shows code B440 (HVAC fault - air mix door), but not now...

Thanks, will try tomorrow a new sensor... or can i somehow test old one? If yes, where it is located? (Haynes didnt tell it...)

About the only way to do it would be to hook it up to a TechII (dealers have them) and it can tell if the sensor is good or not (unless it is still reading correctly)

Still wouldnt be a bad idea to hook it up to a techII, it can do a test on the entire car to see if everything is running right.

OK, thanks - i dont need tech II, because OBD in my car shows all sensors readings in information display...
I ´m test it right away...

yes that is true, but using a TechII makes things a whole heck of a lot easier!!
