HUD drl with Superbrights on the Fogs ???

I have some silverstars brights on the fog...that's about it. I may do a HID upgrade this summer, but I don't think I'll keep the silverstars

What I was told was that sincethe fog light cover is not see through
it distorts the light so it is not appreciated aswell as with the DRL lights..
that I should combine the HID driving lights with Superbrights on the
fogs and would save money at the end...

I also just ran across ChicagoCTS32's write up on the the LEDs..
has anyone does this mod an have an estimate on the costs ?

Hmm, can you even get a bulb that will fit that socket? The last I remembered the DRL was a weird bulb. I currently have a clear bulb in my clear housing but want to upgrade to some type of LED probably superwhite but maybe I should go with an orange one? I have DRL's disabled so it would only flash during turning and hazard lights.



Okay, did I read your post wrong? Did you mean DRL as in lowbeams?

My mistake I meant the low beams not DRLs.....

they won't match perfectly. do both in hids if you want them to match

agreed..i just put some hids in my low beams,,im goin to get the fog lights probly next week for mine. :yup: :yup: ....lol.

I was gonna say... your DRLs are turn signals....

Got the HIDs...8000K all the way around....fogs and driving lights...did the
LED corner lamp swap out aswell...will get picks up soon....next mod are
painting the calipers and installing the ultimate pedals with engraved
Cadillac script....

What size bulb did u put in the corner lamp (parking lamps), 194?

I believe so..looks a little little purplish to me...but close enough
to look like an offwhite with tinge of purple...
