Ok, so it turns out I couldn't get the Mille Miglia MM-S... but he's giving me a deal on these ones... I personally like'm a lot, they look similar to the sport appearance ones, but have a couple more spokes, and are painted (better for winter.) They're 5x114.3, but from what I understand, hub rings will fix that, and he's throwing in a set for me.

I'd say get some used stocker's off ebay. Its better than paying for brand-new look a likes.

Those you picked look fine, but may end up looking ricer-ish as opposed to the sport appearance look you are going for.

Used stockers are going for way too much.

Blizzak LM22s are $230 a piece. That's $920 in tires only.

I am picking up these rims (BRAND NEW) plus a set of brand new LM22s, hub rings, all shipped to my door for $1150.

they personally wouldn't be my first choice, but I do kinda like them, if you like them (especially for just winter wheels) go for it.

Personally I like OEM wheels better too, they always seem to match the car better.

But for that price, I think your decision is made. Besides, how often are YOU going to look at them?

By the way, LM22s are awesome in wet snow. Just be careful on ice. They are not good at ice and packed snow like the WS series tires.

LM22s were back ordered until next winter... So I went with Dunlop Winter Sport M3s. Paid $1250 for wheels, tires, mounting, balancing, lug nuts, center caps, and shipping. :)

I guess buying winter tires in the summer saves some serious cash!

I have tried LM2x (dont remember which one) WS50, and Michelin X-ICE? (again, dont remember other than it was a Michelin)

The LM was the superior tire on anything but packed snow and ice. The WS50 on snow and ice was simply like driving on wet pavement. And it was horrible in any other condition, including wet pavement. I got the Michelin second hand from my step-dad so I wont rate them.

I hope the dunlops are good... If not, I'll just swap the tires from the V's winter wheels to the CTS. They're both 245/45/18, and I don't drive the V in the snow...

I am sure they're good, all snow tires are awesome brand new. The only question is how they will age. The WS50 multicell compound for superior ice traction realistically only lasts the first winter. After that, just like any other snow tire.
