Hi there,

Anyone here have a quick overview of how to remove the dash bezel around the nav unit on a 05 ext? I just got my iCar iPod adaptor, and would like a pointer if it's not to much trouble...:thumbsup:

The whole trim piece pops off! Just held on by clips all around instrument cluster and stereo! Have to put truck shifter all the way down and squeeze out to remove completely but pretty easy to remove! Just be sure not to break any of the clips and youll be good!

As stated, tilt the column all the way down, hold the brake and shift to manual first (all the way down) and pull the top of the bezel towards you. Release all the clips and pull the top towards you and down to clear the dash cover then lift it out.
Turn the hazard switch back off.
(it will activate when the bezel hits it)

Don't forget to shift back to park!

LOL yea forgot to mention the hazard lights! every time!
