Re: How-To Grill for a Cadillac ATS 2013-14

^So overpriced. And the mesh is deformed to fit the emblem so you are still locked into using the 2013-14. Only a factor if you want to change to the new one, of course. No doubt they are quality though.

That looks very interesting, how much does a oem front grill run though?
I have seen them on Ebay or Craigslist for $180 and up. Try car-part.com.

This is what mine will look like when it's done if all goes according to plan.

From looking at some of the ones that are similar they are around $700.00+.
I have some that are less but obviously its a different look.
For some reason it seems that replacement grill options for the Cadillac ATS are very expensive but I would assume that is due to smaller market size for wanting to buy something for Cadillac.

Coming from the Lexus world it was ranged from $100.00 and up.

Example:
$785.00

$974.00

Customgrills.com has some really good options for grille inserts. The have various designs, finished and colors. They have one design that I’m eying with the stylized honeycomb in black that’s a plastic finish so, it matches the faux grille insert in the bumper where the fog lights or faux intake would be located. It keeps the look uniform and neat.

It’s a DIY grille. You can either buy the precut and shaped design as shown in the video or pick and choose one of the other many styles they offer. Unfortunately, the nicer grille designs (IMO) are not offered precut/shaped. I’m on the fence about the precut grille design.

Forgot to mention that aside from the precut grille you will have to buy the grille sheets for upper and lower openings cut them and shape/bend them yourself. Then continue to follow the remaining instructions as seen in the video in the OP. Seems simple enough but can’t say I have did anything like this before.

Time will tell I guess.
