Soon I will either be replacing my front grill or blacking it out with plastidip. How does the crest and shield attach to the grill? Does it just pop off?

I just dipped my front grille all black, but taped off my emblem. However, during the project, i kinda wished i had murdered out the emblem too, it looked sick! maybe just do that, instead of actually taking it off.

I sprayed the whole grill (taped crest) top strip and wreath of logo, didn't like the look, so peeled them off....I would just go w tape

It's stuck on with double sided foam tape. you can pry it off, but the tape gets all ripped up, and then you'll have to scrape it all off. I did it when I replaced my grille, but even the emblem is not long for this world on my car.
