I just bought a 1976 Cadillac Eldorado convertible. Can anyone tell me how I can find what was the factory paint color code and then how to find color name?

I guess you gotta look for the paint code.. a sticker with a series of numbers on it, usually found in the trunk near the spare tire, or on the end of the driver side door i think. not sure about the older cars however. i took a picture of my code and brought it to a paint shop for decoding. i'm sure someone else will fill you in with any info i missed here.
