My display says to change the tranny fluid. Does anyone have a procedure on how to do this? I am still looking for my manual. I know to use Dexron 3 I think. Is there a drain plug for it and how much does it take? Thanks.

Best thing to do is get a machine flush.... most normal oil change places will be able to do it.....

They hook a machine up to the tranny, and it exchanges ALL the fluid, whereas just drainging/refilling will only replace a small portion...... It will cost you about $50-$100, but its a good deal.......

I had the engine oil and filter change along with the tranny fluid exchange done the other day on my 97 Seville 52,000 miles. You can see the old stuff (Black) coming out and the new tranny fluid going in. This process changes all of the fluid including the stuff in the torque converter. It's great I feel clean. I might be wrong but it feels like it's running better. And total cost for all of the above was $ 95.00.

Regards,
Rich
