Those first 3 years I saw a total of 2 ELRs, one in Portland and one out of town a ways. Now over the last 6 months I've seen 1 red, 1 red at a Cadillac dealer for service, 1 white, and about a week ago I saw a dark gray one very near my house. I think the guy driving it was as stunned to see as I was him since it's so rare I see one. All of the ones I've seen have been 2014's as I got a good shot at the grill which let me know. So, yet to see another 2016, although I did notice CarGurus had one for sale across town in Beaverton.....

It's funny that no one seems to have heard of these or what they're all about. When I last went into a Cadillac dealer, I told him that I had an ELR and he had to think about it and thought I was talking about a XLR. I had to explain to the guy that no, it's the hybrid electric one. That's pretty bad.

Funny thing though, there are car guys out there that if they have an affinity to Cadillacs, have researched the car just to know! I was at the bank about a month ago and when I came out the security guard asked if he could talk about my car. This guy was so up on the ELR I couldn't believe it - he knew almost everything about the car and even subtle little things. He knew more than most forum members. He said he really wanted one and I could offer him little more than cluing him onto searching for CPO cars

I almost never see one in the Phoenix area. A few weeks ago a waitress came to my while dining and asked if I owned the Cadillac outside. My immediate reaction was that someone had hit it but it was a middle aged couple who wanted to know all about the car.

ELR is way better looking.

I've never seen an ATS-V in the wild.
There's a ATS-V sedan in my Cadillac dealer's showroom... been there long time.

I see about 1 a week in the Los Angeles area. Last week I parked next to a red Tesla S next to my COOL ELR.
Wow, can't even imagine seeing 1 a week! Nice pic, I like the Teslas but your ELR looks better to my eyes ?. Tesla can't beat the ELR interior that's for sure.

Funny thing is right after I posted the original thread, I left the coffee shop and saw a red ELR driving past me not more than 20 minutes later! Looks like he had just washed it, the sun was beaming off of it and it looked gorgeous! Argh, unfortunately I was so liking the color I forgot to look at the grill and didn't get a chance to notice if it was a 14 or 16...

Very nice. Both of them. Great shot of the color and rear wheel.

Sometimes I think about how lucky it is to get a car with a stock wheel that looks so awesome. I hate about 99% of the wheels out there and then get blessed by a really great looking wheel that came stock on the car - how lucky is that? I checked out the Jag I-Pace as a possible second car for my wife (changing out for her FPace) but the available wheels are too sucky for my tastes and a big turn-off. Nail in the coffin to go along with the first year gremlins, of which, there's too many of...:censored:

Hello just joined the forum. Purchased a 2016 White from a Dallas Cadillac dealer. Couldn’t be happier. One owner certified 10K miles love the car gets looks all the time. Seems like I am the only one in the Tucson AZ area. Had a 2013 Ford Focus all electric before had no range. The electric car club let me in last Saturday’s meeting as I told them I drove in electric mode and used no fuel.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your new car. It's nice knowing you won't see any others around, I really like that about my car, it's rare I see one, and so far, they've all been a different color than mine! I envy your scenery down in AZ, I love the southwest look! Scottsdale is awesome!

Saw one last week here in Tampa. It's only the second one I've seen in the wild.

I was in Detroit last week and saw two in two days. Or I saw the same one twice on different days since they were both black. On a side note, there are a lot of Cadillacs in Detroit in general.

There's definitely a bunch in Florida, or at the very least being sold from Florida. When I was looking for mine on CarGurus, there was a lot of them coming out of Florida. I learned a long time ago when I was buying Jags that a ton of lease returns for whatever reason end up in Florida, Texas and somewhere NE like near Penn. And a lot of those cracked and checking screens are from those Florida and Texas (and AZ) cars as per some of the posts I've read...??

I saw two in Ohio, cant tell what years, most likely 14, one in Columbus another one the way from Dayton, and one 16 at state line auto auction roughly 6 months ago. Super rare car, and its getting worse day by day ))

Hi all, new to the forum. I've only seen 2 others in my area. A Black one at Costco and a grey one on 205. Think one of them was deafsoundguy. I'm also in the Portland area.
Awesome to know my car has a buddy nearby... what color and what color wheels did you get? Did you find it at a dealer here in town or did you ship yours in from somewhere else? I got mine from Ohio.

I really get around and drive everywhere around town so there's a good chance you will see me. If it's a black with black wheels then it's most assuredly me... I drive predominately around SE Portland near 172nd and Foster and Clackamas area, and up and down Division and Powell all the time. You can almost always catch me at Peets Coffee on Sunnyside Rd in the morning with my lovely ELR parked where no idiot can door me.... ? . It's possible you saw me at Costco, I've been to the Clackamas one once or twice, but normally the Airport way one when we're not getting a boatload of groceries...

Welcome to the forum and ELR ownership. :D
