Not to bump an old Thread, but this is the only informational thing that pops up when you search the color on the V series and wanted to give a thanks. I just picked up a 6 speed manual 2009 V in Blue Diamond and LOVE IT. I knew it was a rare color, but not so rare as to only 76 being produced, that's awesome. I'd be interested to find out how many in Manual their were in the mix as well. Anyway, back to the color I feel it's making somewhat of a comeback. In different low lighting I see a Glossy Primer/Dull color close to that of Audi's Nardo gray and the Focus RS stealth gray finish both a glossy primer color that are very desirable colors now. Then in different types of sunlight you see great metallic color combinations that Cadillac is known for. Just my 2 cents, and I'm excited about this car.

Let me know if you are still interested. I have one of two 2009 Blue Diamond manual recaro cars built (I've had both). The car is perfect.
That post you quoted is from 8-1/2 years ago, and the person who posted it hasn't logged into the site in about 16 months. If you want to sell the car on this site you'd have much better luck if you posted in the CTS/CTS-V classifieds, where people who are shopping for a CTS-V are likely to be looking.

I see all the fans here who love the Vs. I bought a ONE Owner V from a Dr. in Fla. a couple of years back. Here she is on the trailer, coming to its new home! The car also Diamond Blue Tri-coat. Just LOVE the color in the sun. To me the greatest color offered in a V. The White Titanium interior is stunning! One of my ALL Time favorites for Sure! Here are some pics! After I did a MAJOR Paint Correction. Been a "Detailer" over 50 years. Only 82 in Blue???? Great detective work, I am pleased no-one will pull up with one like mine. !! Stay well! Ben PS Also my Cougar. I bought when I was 18. I am now 66.

Dude..... Nice "Correction" on that Deville! After 5 decades in business, I just want to talk about the safety of these Detail Products. You don't have to believe me if you don't want to, but it is my duty to tell you after using them so long..... that they are ALL Slow poisons. When you Spray them through atomizers WEAR YOUR MASK and DO Glove up!!! Don't let them touch BARE SKIN. I just turned 65 and I have been doing paint Correction Since I was 14. Yeah.. I made some $$$$, in fact I made a LOT of $$$. BUT Now last month..... I was Diagnosed with STAGE III Renal Cancer, and they took my Right Kidney. Why am I telling you this????? Because I DONT want this SH--, to happen to you, or anyone else out there working with Automotive Poisons. I worked in a Cadillac Dealership for 20+ years. Please work smart!!! Protect yourself to EVERY extent that you can. I am CRUSHED after this Cancer Diagnosis. You can see I have a great car collection, a Great wife who loves me, and not a Bill in my entire life!!! Yet, I have Stage III cancer...... I am trying to keep my chin up, but I need to tell YOU, and others who work around these POISONS, Work Safely!!!! The carcinogens are out there, and they are many. I don't mean to tell you what to do. I just want people to be safe! God Bless America!!! The Fitipaldi Ford GT in the picture is one of Three made in 1966. I corrected all the plastic windows, and the entire car for the owner. The car is now in the Ford Museum.

Thank-you for looking! That Deville looks great also. Remember to work safely! Don't breath these Chemicals. Wear Gloves all the time. Stay Safe! Ben
Thank you! And thanks for the warning, it’s easy to think it’s all safe but I don’t doubt what you’re saying at all. I appreciate your candidness and will definitely keep your advice in mind as far as the gloves.

Real nice cars. I especially like your Crimson Red Eldorado. That color and pearl white are still on my list as far as dreamcars I’d love to own again 1 day.
