It's interesting that backup says only 76 blue 2009 were produced, I saw four of them at once in one dealer's lot in Calgary - two used "GM executive" returns and two new.

Nope, no doubt about it, mine is a confirmed 2010. I think it is unique. But my initial dislike, and the person who ordered and walked away from the car, are certainly clues as to why Blue Diamond was discontinued for 2010.

Damn they gave up 500$ to walk away? I'm sure they could have traded for a different color. Anyway, does the 10' model come with any upgrades from 09? I think I read NAV is standard for the 2010' model. I'm assuming no backup camera? Shit Acura has a backup camera why can't GM install one. :thepan:

Color and Trim section-Exterior color (GBO) Blue Diamond Tricoat, created a new footnote #5 for this color that reads "Available at extra charge. Not available on CTS Sport Wagon or CTS-V.".

I wonder which will turn out to be more unusual for 2010 - Blue Diamond sport wagons or Blue Diamond CTS-Vs?

:yup: I agree, it's got the beautiful metallic which you can tell on the first pic when the sun hits it.

It looks really feminine (politically correct), in certain sunlight. And like black, it looks bad when dirty. I have come to love it; I just have seen any other 2010"s in the blue yet.

I have one and maybe you are right about the feminine nature. I'm okay with it. My wife loves it. The color constantly changes with changes in lighting. In bright sunlight it appears periwinkle to me. In the evenings it looks gray. The highly metallic paint reminds me of a bass boat. That fits right in Springfield Mo-the headquarters of Bass Pro.

Hides dirt better than black.

When I bought mine in summer of 2010 in Wisconsin, there was another just like it on the lot. Both had every option, and I was told that these were GM exec cars and they lost their jobs so these were sold. I also found a few more at the same time for sale in Michigan. Here's mine at an open road race out in Nebraska.
