My car is a 2010 blue diamond. Black was my first choice, but I got a great deal on this one. The story is; that a customer pre-ordered the color, and when it came in they hated it so much they refused to take it. They lost a $500.00 deposit too.
I personally wanted a V2 so bad, I didn't care if it was Mary Kay Pink. I did not like the color at all, but I had to have a V2. I bought the ugly blue car.
Two months later, I love the color!
I understand the color is no longer available? Does anyone else have a 2010 Blue diamond?

You probably have a 2009, they didn't offer it on 2010, I think, I wanted this color and when I ordered my car they said not an option

Nope, no doubt about it, mine is a confirmed 2010. I think it is unique. But my initial dislike, and the person who ordered and walked away from the car, are certainly clues as to why Blue Diamond was discontinued for 2010.

If it says 2010 on your vehicle documentation than you have one rare vehicle considering that 2010 didnt have a color option for the blue diamond

I am trying to upload my "2010" window sticker and a picture of the car, but I am having no luck. It says the upload failed, but not why.
I can e-mail direct to anyone who is really interested. I don't know how to decode the VIN, but I suppose that would say when it was "built".

I cannot find a build date from the VIN. No big deal, I just think that I have one of very few "blue" 2010's. I've been in the car game long enough to know that it is worthless and adds no value, I just thought it was unique...

Hey dvandentop: I am sorry, I am the only male on my period today. I hated that your post made me laugh so hard. I am stealing that cartoon for my own personal use now.

As for a picture of the doorjamb... I got a new Apple for X-mas and I do not seem to be able to upload to this site. I can gladly e-mail the picture to someone who could post???

I do not think the color/year combo is "special" but it is weird. I have never spoke to anyone who loved the color at first sight, but it "grows" on you.

Huh, I think that is pretty cool. Would like to see some pics. Did you buy the car from Scott at Superior? Maybe he can give us the story. The build sheet shows it was a 'SLL sold order', I think that means it was ordered that way by a customer. Another question for Scott or a dealer - is it possible to enter an order to GM today with the blue diamond color?

There were only 76 blue diamond 2009 made, so it is rare to begin with. Perhaps at the opening of 2010 ordering it is still possible to select blue diamond color? I have seen the color on the base CTS, would like to see it on the V.
