Mine's like 2-3mbits... but then again I only pay like 22 bucks a month. Got rid of a cable a long long time ago... $50 a month for internet service, give me a break. Unless all someone does is download or pirate tons and tons of stuff any gains over 3-4mbits is barely noticeable in day to day browsing. Had I some immense desire for the fastest connection possible I'd sign up for that 15mbit fios.

I recently found out that my cable company outdated my cable modem and didn't bother to tell me.
I was having all sorts of issues and they admitted they were almost amazed that it even worked at all.
Since I replaced it things have been much better.

Nice of them huh?

The difference everyone in the complex being on the net at once makes (Comcast cable).

That's one thing I never have to deal with at home and Mediacom cable internet, single family home neighborhood of mostly older people (i.e. few on the internet).
