For those of you who have driven and liked an SMG tranny and a CTSV2 auto, how do they compare in shifting performance in manual and auto modes? I never considered an auto V2 until i drove a SMG recently.... It is the best of both worlds in my opinion.
How does the V2 Automatic compare to BMW SMG?

SMG is a POS! The BMW DCT is very very good!
Hard to compare the Caddy is an automatic, the SMG is an electronic controlled single clutch, and the dct is a dual clutch.
On a race track the SMG might be better, but Id take the caddys autobox, the SMG sucks for daily driving, very jerky

wow...not sure I can agree with anyone on this. I had SMG on my M3 and loved it. The caddy's slushbox (even with a tune, ie slightly better slushbox) doesn't even begin to compare. Sorry fellas. There's too much delay when reaching for a gear in the caddy.
