So I've tried on many different occasions unsuccessfully to remove this assembly, in order to apply some anti-rattle foam around it...

so when I remove the license plate, I am confronted with four screws behind it. Upon removing them, the trim is still firmly attached to the car, and nothing is accessible from the inside of the trunk besides the lic. plate bulb. After staring at it for an hour, and gently prying at the edges, all I manage to do it chip a piece of the trim off.

Can someone please enlighten me? Is there something I'm missing? Thanks.

Lol i had to think for a second "My car is still outside :hmm: "

But yeah, i pried it for a few seconds too before i thought to look in the trunk, and there are two bolts, one behind each reverse light, its a small screw, i think it was a 7 or 6 socket, i had to remove this last week to change the license plate light. Funny thing is a look in the manual yesterday and seen how to change every other bulb except for the license plate.
