How do you clear history codes

How in the Heck do you clear history codes off of your DIC display? I had to have the ignition lock cylinder replaced and now I have a ton of history codes that show up when I run the diagnostic on all the systems. Any ideas or answers would be appreciated. Sorry, I forget to mention the car is a 96 Eldorado. Thanks, Jon
