Ive been searching these forums and I cant seem to find the info on the older models(89-93) with the older ac config. Is disconnecting the battery the only way to clear them?

The issue I have is that Ive had a car thats been sitting for a while. Finally got it all dialed in, and put her back on the road. Ive been using the ac and it was working great. I put it on high and it was really blowing nicely, and then all of a sudden stopped. It switched to econ and the service ac light came on. I figured perhaps the car has been sitting for too long and it had a hiccup in the ac lines. The codes come up with low refrig, but I wanted to clear them and try out the ac again, just to see if it was lack of use, versus actually being low on refrig.

Possible? And how do I clear these codes aside from disconnecting the battery?

You won't get a low refrigerant code from lack of use. You get it from low refrigerant.
