Using the "Search Community" function searches all forums. What is the syntax to restrict my search to keywords in a specific forum such as the ATS-V forum for example?

Thanks

Other than including "ATS-V" or "ATSV" in your search string, I don't think there's any way to narrow the results, which makes the search function pretty useless IMO. I seem to recall seeing one of the admins post something about additional search functionality that has yet to be implemented.

Advanced search is currently disabled while its under maintenance. As soon as the product is ready for a full release we will be posting a notice.

Any progress on this? It seems ludicrous to me that this forum software doesn't have useful search functionality. This isn't the first forum to use Xenforo; are all of the other discussion forums that use Xenforo similarly limited in their ability to search the forum?

They are actively working on it. You can see a preview here but many parts are still not functional. I am not 100% certain this will be the final product they use in order to get advanced search back for us. https://www.cadillacforums.com/search

I am hoping to see this completed in the next few weeks.

Advanced search is back. :)

How To Search The Site

Near the top of the community, you will see a search bar.

Simply enter your search word or phrase and click enter on your keyboard.

How To Access Advanced Search

If you have already entered your search words in the search bar but want to narrow down your results or choose to search only certain forum selections, click on “Advanced Search”.

This will allow you to choose to search titles only, add the member username who posted it or even select a specific forum to search from the scroll menu within search in forums.

If you prefer to go directly to advanced search, you can access it under the 3 vertical dots at the top right-hand corner of the community.
