I just bough a 1989 cadillac Fleetwood Brougham with a 307 Y in it. I'm having some trouble loosening up the air pump in order to install a new belt. I know there's one adjustment nut on the front but that doesn't seem to loosen it up enough. Does anyone know if theres another nut hiding somewhere in there? Or if someone knows the trick to loosen and tighten that belt I would much appreciate it. Thanks.

I think you will find one more bolt when you slid under the vehicle and look up at the air pump. It is in a very sneeky position to get at but should be the same as the 368 engine.

I've recently replaced all belts on my 1989 and am having difficulty tensioning the a.i.r. pump belt. Is there really a hidden bolt from underneath?
