My car was dead one morning when I went to start it. I jumped it and was on my way.

A few days later I was playing with the Nav settings for 10-15 minutes with the key on (engine off) and the low battery warning came on. By that time the car wouldn't start.

I took it to the dealer today and they checked it and said the battery tested fine. They say they can't replace it unless it checks out bad.

So, do I have any options but to just wait until the car won't start on a daily basis?

Put a screw driver through it lol joke. On regular batteries, it will die if you completely drain it a few time. It just doesn't want to charge back fully.

You need to leave it dead and call roadside assistance.

They have to be able to read the pcm and see the battery dead or they won't change it out.
