You will need to remove the whole engine and tranny assembly, this is done by removing the engine cradle bolts and lifting the car into the air. Once all connections have been unplugged and removed, then the whole unit rolls out from underneath. Once out you can remove the tranny quite easily. Just one word of warning, this tranny is very heavy have a truss nearby if you are going to pick it up. There are some posts if you search about removing the engine. It would also be good if the FSM was nearby for referall

Wow I guess thats way out of the home mechanic scope, I don't even thing my garage would offer the space to do it anyway. guess I will be trying to sell this thing then. I have removed many transmissions, but never seen anything like this before.
