I just saw the transformers movie. The movie was great i was just dissapointed cause we didnt see any Vs. GMC most of shelled out some money to get its cars in the movie because just about every car in the movie was a GMC. They had a shit load of gtos and they dont even make those any more. Would of been nice to see a 09 v or something. Either way the movie was good just wanted to share that with the only poeple that i thought might feel the same.

Vs have been spotted in a couple of flicks, not major shots, just a scene or two. Mr. & Mrs Smith was one.

If you didn't see any Cadillacs in the movie that would be why.

Looking at the financial books of the V, there's no money left for cheesy movie spots. What profit the handful of cars generated was spent on swapping rear assemblies, sail panels, radiators and navigation knobs.

There was one Transformer based on a V that can be seen on the DVD in the deleted scenes.

He was an Autobot named Hopabout, but unfortunately for him the rear differential acted as his heart when he transformed. First recorded case of cardiac arrest in a robot.

Now the world is at peace...Here's Hopabout.

...well except for the Africa, Europe, Asia, South America, North America
and Australia. What about Antarctica? That's still undisputed territory; give it time.

Thanks Jimmy... :)

Ah but yes it was... The V was in Mr. and Mrs. Smith with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. It was Brads car in the begining.

I would think the rear is like an achillies heel. In robots, like future or on another planet someone would of spoted the problem and taken him down.

Actually I don't believe GM paid a dime to get their cars in the movie, I think that was more the doing of Michael Bay.

hey! you stole my post!

there is a scene where prime just misses stepping on a caddy in the movie, then prime and bonecrusher collide, and the kid in the caddy yells "cool!"

by the way, if you have not already, you must go see this movie! best movie ever!!!!!

Oh and GM struck a deal with paramount, they did pay lots of money. If this was 2009, you can be sure their would have been a CTS-V in there for promotion. Right now they would rather put the attention on the new Camaro and slow moving Solstice.

I am sure Ebay paid some money too for the exposure they got.
