I went to my Cadillac dealer and saw this STS... I would like to know if it has that ZF servotronic steering or not... sales person there doesn't know anything about STS...

Is there anyway I can find out if it has that ZF servotronic whatever ???

it should be on window sticker and/or build sheet ....

my 05 STS w/1SG included it ....

i drove a V6 w/reg steering ... didn't really have enough seat time to notice a big difference .... the steering , ZF, feels fine ... i don't find it to be 'light' ..
it is not at all twichy at hyway+ speeds ...

it is not like a Porsche or BMW ... but definately not like a older Cadi ...

ZF gives better road feel and feed back, thats all. Its a nice little feature but not that important. Why they did not just make it the standard rack is beyond me.

If it has either the 1SC, 1SF or 1SG package, it has it. Or just look for air-conditioned seats, that's a giveaway, too (same package).

I wanna feel it ... I think this has something else to do than only giving a better road feel.. maybe better cornering or stability..

aammmmm let's see.. I got this paper from the dealer.. It has options available in that car (code and description)...

anyways, the package is called 1SK... where does that fit ?

it has air-conditioned seats anyway... but still couldn't find ZF option in that paper they gave me...


That sales person doesn't know what the hell is ZF... he only knows that steering wheel is used to direct the car...



anyway I don't think that ZF is a big issue to worry about... right ?
