How can I reset the Passlock system?

2007 Escalade ESV - It was in the shop for a while while we rebuilt the engine and now the Key FOBs don't work but the keys start the car. No flashing Passlock icon but when you manually lock the doors, from the door switch, it beeps (which is new) and the Passlock icon flashes on the dash.

When I try to reprogram the FOBs and hit the checkmark button it beeps and does nothing. No programming display just back to the Press Checkmark to Program Keys screen.

Any ideas on how to reset this? Could it be a wire or sensor not plugged in after the engine rebuild? It starts and runs like normal. No security lights at all.

I wonder if you missed a step in the process? Did all the remotes get paired to the vehicle during the process? That’s a must. Congrats on the new motor. What was the nail in the coffin for the motor?

See if there’s something you may have passed over in the clip. Don’t mind the video of the Yukon, it’s the same procedure as the Escalade just a different key fob & orientation of the DIC buttons.

Yeah that wasn’t the right video I’m sorry though I have a 2006 CTS on that that Ke learn is to pass Keith three system and is connected to the theft deterrent system requires a code being sent from one module from the key itself to the module in order to be able to start the car it’s a program that passed three key it’s 10 minutes three times they have to wait until the security light goes out and then on the third time you start the car and if it starts it should work or be reprogrammed and reprogram additional keys when you shut the car off after the first key starts a car within 10 seconds he put another key and turned it around possession and wait for the scary like to go out once sets out that key should be reprogrammed as well
